Paleo Cookbooks ? Warning: Things You Must Know Now Or Risk Being Scammed!

I noticed that quite a few Paleo cookbooks have sprung up online. Most are in downloadable format which is great because I like instant access to a wide variety of Paleo diet recipes, all in one place.

No, need to move for shipping, YAY!

Let’s state if I want ideas for a Paleo breakfast meal, all I have to do is click on the print button and I can straight away print out a bunch of morning caveman recipes!

Awesome! However, there are some problems…

Decent calibre Paleo cookbooks that actually stay within the “Paleolithic diet” rules are difficult to come by. I’ve downloaded several different ones and after going through apiece book, I can’t help but feel scammed!

Firstly, the recipes are poorly written. They are hard too comprehend and lacked variety. And the worst part is the Paleo diet foods shown in those cookbooks are inaccurate because they also include too many non-Paleo ingredients.

Look, before downloading Paleo cookbooks online, here are a couple things you must know to refrain being scammed.

(1)    Make sure there’s a money back guarantee in place.

Your payment has to be processed by trusted third celebration payment gateways such as Paypal or Clickbank. This way, you can ask for a refund direct from the payment processor in case those Paleo cookbooks are not up to your standards.

(2)   Try to obtain feedback from online discussion boards regarding a particular cookbook.

See, recently I discovered a set of digital cookbooks that contain 310 Paleo diet recipes. So before downloading, I visited an online board in order to obtain some feedback.

Most opined that they are satisfied with the books thus I downloaded it right away. Indeed, those books are perfect for Paleolithic diet followers as the variety of recipes are staggering!

Cheers to helpful online board members for recommending me these Encyclopedia-like Paleo cookbooks!

Breakfast And/or Brunch Recipes (suitable for Diabetics, Too!)

If you are exhausted of the same old thing for breakfast, here are some new ideas for you.  Planning a brunch and want something different than the usual?  These recipes are for you, too.  Pork and apple breakfast sausage is a one-of-a-kind twist on sausage.  Since this sausage is prefabricated from the pork tenderloin, you are eliminating nearly all of the fat.  Sausage as a healthy choice; what a concept!  Give this recipe a try.  You, your family, and brunch guest will be glad you did.

PORK AND APPLE BREAKFAST SAUSAGES

1 lb pork tenderloin, cut into chunks

1/2 medium to massive apple, peeled and cut into chunks

3/4 tsp poultry seasoning

1/2 tsp paprika

1/4 tsp salt

Put the pork, apple and spices into the bowl of a food processor fitted with a metal blade.  Process about 1 minute until finely chopped.  Wash hands thoroughly then using hands shape the mixture into 24 patties.  Coat tops lightly with vegetable oil spray.  Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.  Place patties, sprayed side down, in pan.  Cook approximately 5 minutes, turning as needed, until brown and no pink remains.  Reduce heat if the patties begin to brown too quickly.

This makes 8 servings of 3 patties each.  Per serving:  73 calories, 1 g carbs, 12 g protein

After cooking, patties might be kept in refrigerator in a resealable plastic freezer bag for up to 4 days or in the freezer for up to 6 weeks.  To reheat, place on a microwave-safe plate, cover loosely with waxed paper or paper towel.  Microwave on medium power for 1 minute or until heated through.   NOTE:  I found this recipe in a Diabetes Cookbook from Prevention Magazine.

Easy Cinnamon Spread is perfect on bagels, toast, or crackers.  It is simple to make and all ages enjoy it.

EASY CINNAMON SPREAD

1/4 cup softened butter or margaine

1/4 cup packed brown sugar OR 2 tbsp Splenda Brown Sugar Blend

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

Combine all ingredients in a small mixing bowl.

For a swift and simple “French toast” spread this mixture on whole-wheat toast or mini whole-wheat bagel halves.

Cheesy Ham Nuggets are a great bite-sized food that is great on a buffet table.  It seems that kids always enjoy hand foods so if you have a picky consumer at home, maybe this is a way to get them to take something besides cereal for breakfast.

CHEESY HAM NUGGETS

2 tbsp butter, softened

1 cup shredded low-fat cheddar cheese

1/2 cup flour

1/2 tsp paprika

2 tbsp water

dash of salt

1 lb cooked ham, cut into 20 cubes

Combine the butter, cheese, flour, paprika, water and salt; mix well with a fork.  Shape a thin layer of cheese mixture around apiece ham cube.  Place on a greased cookie sheet.  Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.

Chopped Egg Casserole is not your usual egg casserole. This dish uses chopped boiled eggs, rice, tomatoes, mexican cheese, etc.  This is another surprise dish for your family and friends.

CHOPPED EGG CASSEROLE

1 1/2 cups sliced celery

1 cup diced bell pepper

1 medium sweet onion, sliced thin

1 tbsp unsalted butter

1 tbsp flour

1 tsp garlic salt

1 can (16 oz) Mexican-style diced tomatoes with juice

dash of hot sauce

6 hard-boiled eggs, chopped

2 cups brown rice, cooked

3/4 cup low-fat shredded Mexican-blend cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Spray a 2-quart casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray.  In a massive saucepan, melt butter and saute celery, onion, and pepper until tender.  Add flour and garlic salt, stirring to blend well.  Stir in tomatoes and hot sauce.  Bring mixture to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until mixture is thick and bubbly.  Carefully, stir in eggs.  Spoon rice into the bottom of the prepared casserole dish.  Pour egg mixture over the rice.  Bake 25 to 30 minutes, until thoroughly heated.  Top with the shredded cheese and bake about 5 minutes until cheese is melted.

Enjoy!

How To Overcome A Yeast Infection Using Candida Cookbooks

One of the ideal ways a mortal can combat the effects of Candida is by following a strict Candida diet. Unfortunately with this diet there are a number of foods that you will need to eliminate from your diet. Luckily for you there are plenty of Candida cookbooks now acquirable which can help you to produce great meals despite having to omit many of the ingredients that you would normally include.

To combat the symptoms of candida and regain balance, you need to omit foods which contain yeast, sugar, fungi and generally refrain processed foods. You will also find that you need to omit such foods such as cheese, marmite, vinegar based products, fruit (both fresh and dried) as well as smoked and fermented foods. This is because all of these contain elements, which the Candida bacteria feeds on and which will only help them grow more rapidly in the body.

However, as previously mentioned, there are many cookbooks now acquirable which have been specifically produced for helping a mortal suffering from Candida. They can wage useful information about what you take when either going out or planning a meal at home.

Many of the superior cookbooks written for candida sufferers contain ingredients that are readily acquirable at your local supermarket, greengrocers or butchers. With many of the ingredients being a combination of meats and vegetables (both of which do not promote candida growth).

As a candida overgrowth can effect the body’s capability to absorb essential nutrients, then it is important that the meals that are ingested are rich in the essential vitamins and minerals and nutritional elements required by the body, so that you do not become malnourished.

In my view when looking for a good candida cookbook you should ensure it includes the following:

1. A list of the foods that should be restricted from the diet, including sugar, yeast, diary and fungi based foods

2. A comprehensive list of the foods that are excellent for combating candida, like garlic, onions and fresh vegetables

3. A list of the foods that are nutritionally rich and can be ingested without increasing candida overgrowth.

4. Exciting ways to combine these foods into nutritious and tasty meals that cover snacks, breakfast, lunch, evening meal and supper, as well as cooking for larger groups and children.

5. What to take when intake out at a restaurant or at a friend’s house.

A cookbook containing the above will help you manage the symptoms of candida and also give recommendations to help alleviate the sugar cravings, drowsiness and “mind fog” that can sometimes be linked to a candida albincans infection.
